Scoop6 Races for May 5th 2018

Totepool have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 5th May. They are: –

Leg 1: 1:50 Newmarket
Leg 2: 2:05 Goodwood
Leg 3: 2:40 Goodwood
Leg 4: 3:05 Wetherby
Leg 5: 3:35 Newmarket
Leg 6: 4:10 Newmarket
(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There was no winner of the Scoop6 on last Saturday. This is great news for you as the Win fund starts at £486,898 and the bonus fund at £522,298. Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.

Three of the races will be held at Newmarket, two from Goodwood and a sole visit to Wetherby. Four of the legs (1, 2, 3 & 5) will be screened live on ITV.

Totepool predict the combined win and bonus fund could be worth £1,250,000 with around £650,000 estimated in the win fund and £600,000 in the bonus funds.

If you are going to play the Scoop6 this weekend, or place any other pool bets, also make sure you take advantage of the Totepool Cashback Club where you can get up to 9% cashback on your stakes.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “The Scoop6 is a big talking point after ten rollovers and we are now looking at £1.25 million in combined funds this weekend. The 2000 Guineas is the days big prize but successful punters will have their eye on much bigger riches in the Scoop6.”

  1. Scoop6 Rich Says:

A stylish success from Saxon Warrior in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket this afternoon contributed to eight punters winning a share of £657,882 on the Scoop6.

Each punter collected £82,235.20 after Tribal Quest landed the final leg but it was the earlier win of Saxon Warrior, giving Aidan O’Brien a 300th career Group/Grade 1 winner, that stole the show.

They will now go forward for the chance to add the bonus fund of £583,363 by picking the winner of a nominated race next Saturday.

Oasis Dream got favourite backers off to the perfect start in leg 1 before Isabel De Urbina scored at Goodwood. Following the 12/1 success of Taurean Star, 589 tickets remained at halfway, which soon became just 113 once Original Choice had won the totesport.com Hunt Cup at Wetherby at 6/1.

The Classic win for Saxon Warrior meant 28 units were still in play heading into the last at Newmarket where William Buick’s mount proved too good for his rivals, much to the delight of the octet.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “After ten successive rollovers the Scoop6 has finally been won. Eight delighted punters will each receive £82,235 and the chance to play for the £583,363 bonus fund next weekend.”
