totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said: “With £1.5m in prize money up for grabs with some scintillating racing in Ireland, the main focus will be on Leopardstown this weekend. 1. Scoop6 Rich Says:

The Scoop6 once again went begging on Saturday after a battling victory for Ballydine, ridden by Sean Bowen, landed the Betfred Masters at Sandown and knocked out the remaining two tickets in leg five.

The two units still in the hunt were aboard Final Nudge and Wicked Willy who both finished just outside the places.

The win fund has now grown to £202,689 while the bonus fund stands at £148,763 ahead of Super Saturday at Newbury next weekend.

There were three successful favourites amongst the first five winners with Min (11/8f) getting the ball rolling with 27682 followers before the 6/1 success of Patricks Park and 11/2 favourite Topofthegame saw 208 units still in the win fund at halfway. Supsundae scored in the Irish Champion Hurdle to whittle it down to just two before Ballydine struck.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “The Scoop6 win fund has rolled over for the fifth successive week as no punter managed to find the correct formula to blend the Irish and British winners together. It means an estimated £450,000 in combined funds will be up for grabs on Super Saturday.”

The place fund paid £87.50 with 237 winning ticket holders.
