Last Saturday’s sole Scoop6 winner will be hoping to be the new Christmas ‘Carroll’ this weekend, when he goes for an additional £237,909 in the bonus race.

A break from work and paying off his mortgage could even be on the cards for Christopher Carroll, from Widnes, who placed a £2 line on the Scoop6 at his local Betfred shop and managed to pick up £27,566.30 from correctly backing all six winners from our selected races at Cheltenham and Doncaster.

Christopher said, “It was unbelievable. I do it every week, normally three separate tickets of £2 each, but for some reason I only did two tickets this week and one of them came up. I just go for horses that I’ve backed before and have won, or that I think stand a good chance.

“If I win really big on Saturday, I’ll be paying my mortgage off and booking a nice holiday. I think if I won the big one, I might even consider quitting work or even taking a few years off.”

His Scoop6 win didn’t come without drama either, as the final leg, the Close Brothers Mares’ Handicap Hurdle from Cheltenham, ended in a photo finish with Chris’ selection, Martello Sky thankfully coming out on top by a neck from Indefatigable.

“I was confident with the first leg, Coole Cody, and once that came in they just all seemed to fall right. I watched the racing at home with friends and family, but the close finish in the last made me really nervous.”

The season long competition gets underway on Saturday 13th November and continues all the way to April 9th.

The total prize fund is guaranteed to be worth at least £100,000 and could be considerably more.

Make sure you get your entry in before 11am on Saturday 13th November.

You need to pick a stable of 10 horses to follow across the jumps season. You will then earn points based on their results – with the best performing stable guaranteed to win at least £27,000 and prizes for the top 500 stables!

There are also four monthly prizes up for grabs for the best performance in each full month of the Ten to Follow (December, January, February and March)

Ten to Follow stables cost £5/€5.50 each and there is also a free-to-play version with a racing tickets as prizes.

How to Play the Ten to Follow

You create a stable by selecting 10 horses from a list of over 500 of the biggest names. These horses then score points every time they win, or are placed, in a race. The 500 stables with the most points at the end of the season get a share of a prize fund which is guaranteed to total at least £100,000! with first place being worth at least £27,000!

There are bonus races that score extra points and also prizes for the stables that score the most points in each full month of the competition. More details of how you score points can be found on our Ten to Follow page.

Each stable costs £5/€5.50 to enter and you can play as many times as you wish. There is also be a free to play version of the Ten to Follow.

The Ten to Follow is run as a pool, like all the other Tote bets, so the more people that play the larger the prizes will grow. So make sure you share this post with your friends.
