The feature action of the day is at Cheltenham, where the Cleeve Hurdle (3:35pm) looks to be a cracking renewal of the prominent Stayers Hurdle trial. Paisley Park is an undeniable elephant in the room, but it would be little surprise to see If The Cap Fits and Summerville Boy make the 2019 Champion work for his corn.<\/p>\n
Leg 3 of the Scoop6 pool is the Cotswold Chase at 2:25pm, where Santini can overcome this D-Day of sorts on route to a promising Gold Cup attempt in March. He was underwhelming at Sandown Park first time out, but better work can be expected from the 8yo on the back of a breathing operation. Bristol De Mai and Ladbrokes Trophy winner De Rasher Counter are probably the main dangers, though Mister Whittaker does rate as an interesting outsider in a tight six-runner field, which also includes Top Ville Ben and Slate House.<\/p>\n
