The Scoop6 rolled over again last weekend but two small staking punters got closer to claiming the \u00a36.8 Million<\/strong> win fund than anyone else has in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Going into the final 6th leg there were just 3 horses covered by winning tickets. One punter from Ireland, who placed a single \u00a32 bet, had a ticket on Capaill Liath while both Escape To Glory and Justonefortheroad were running for Joe McGuire from Thatcham, Berks who had placed four \u00a32 Scoop6 bets.<\/p>\n

Escape To Glory appeared to have the best chance, setting off at 10-1 and even being matched at 1.01 in running, but Llanarmon Lad came home first to win by 11<\/sup>\/4<\/sub> lengths and so causing the Scoop6 to not be won again. Capaill Liath came in third whist Justonefortheroad finished 6th.<\/p>\n

Joe told the Mirror “I picked the horses because I fancied them. A few had good form so I just went with my gut. I’m absolutely gutted, but that’s life. It’s still amazing to have five winners but I’m sad, it’s the closest I’ve ever come to a big win.”<\/p>\n

But both punters have some consolation, as they chose placed horses in each race they get a return of over \u00a31,700 from the place fund, as do over 750 others. That’s still not a bad return for a small stake!<\/p>\n

As the Scoop6 wasn’t won it will now rollover to next Saturday where Totepool are predicting the win fund will be worth around \u00a310 Million<\/strong> and for the bonus fund to reach \u00a35 Million<\/strong>. Definitely not one to be missed!<\/p>\n
