There were 2 winners of the Scoop6 last Saturday who won £23,894 each! They will attempt to add another £269,210 to that by selecting the winner of this week’s bonus race, the 3:35 Betfred Cambridgeshire Handicap at Newmarket. If they fail any winners from this week will play for an even larger bonus next time.

One of the winners, Les Frost from Bedworth, remarkably managed to pick all six winners last Saturday from just a £2 bet. And as Les was the only Betfred winner, his winnings were topped up by a whopping £100,000 bonus from Fred himself.

Aircraft engineer Les said “I’m on cloud nine after winning last week, and I’m treating the bonus as just that – a bonus. If I was lucky enough to win it, I’d be looking to buy a place in Tenerife with the wife.”

The other bonus hunter is an anonymous Coral customer who staked £16 in total.

This weekend’s win fund builds from £4,879 and features action from Haydock Park and Newmarket. All 6 races will be shown on ITV4.

Totepool spokesman Adam Smith said “With 33 runners, the two bonus players will need a slice of luck and we wish them all the best in their quest for a further £269k windfall.”
